Riverbend Community Mental Health Welcomes Community Leaders to its Board of Directors Posted on August 16, 2024September 19, 2024 Riverbend Community Mental Health is pleased to welcome three community leaders to its Board of Directors. Sarah Glaude of Laconia, Christina Loporcaro, MD, of Bow and Julie Stone of Loudon began their terms of service effective July 2024. In addition, retired corporate finance executive Frank Boucher became chair of the Board in June 2024, taking over the leadership from former nonprofit executive Jim Doremus. “As a comprehensive care organization reaching 30 communities, we value the commitment and expertise from local thought leaders who help us advance our important work,” said Lisa K. Madden, president & CEO of Riverbend Community Mental Health. “This latest group of Board members has considerable experience in medicine, human resources and entrepreneurship, community engagement and strategic planning. We are delighted to have Sarah Glaude, Dr. Christina Loporcaro and Julie Stone join our mission and share their commitment and knowledge with other members of our Board and our staff, as we advance our mission and serve the community.” SARAH GLAUDE Sarah is a Human Resources Manager at Mason + Rich, an accounting firm in downtown Concord, where she is committed to ensuring every employee feels valued and supported within the firm. She earned her associate’s degree in business management from Lakes Region Community College in Laconia in 2021 and holds certification from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Sarah is also a small business owner. As the co-owner of Social Club Creamery – a small batch and homemade ice cream shop in downtown Concord – Sarah enjoys being part of the local business community. She resides in Laconia with her husband, Cole, and their beloved dog, Bobo. CHRISTINA LOPORCARO, MD Christina Loporcaro is an emergency medicine physician at Concord Hospital and recently took over the role of Medical Director for Concord Hospital emergency medicine at all three hospital sites (Concord, Laconia, and Franklin). She is a graduate of the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine & Science (Mayo Medical School) in Rochester, Minnesota. She is a New Hampshire native, born and raised in Dover, who returned to New Hampshire after her medical training to set down roots and start a family. Loporcaro lives in Bow with her husband and two young children. JULIE STONE Julie Stone is vice president of strategy at Granite VNA. In this role, she oversees philanthropy, communications, business development and community wellness. She previously served as director of strategy, innovation and engagement at Home Health & Hospice Care in Merrimack, New Hampshire, for 10 years. She has an extensive career in healthcare including senior wellness, behavioral health, home care and hospice. Julie is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. Stone also serves as the Board chair for Hospice Help Foundation and is a member of the Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care Alliance of New Hampshire.
